About us

Our story

How we met

Lucca and Fiona have known each other since grammar school, though for years they were little more than familiar faces. It wasn't until junior year of high school that their paths finally crossed in a meaningful way, and from then on the two were inseparable. It was clear from the start that they brought out the best in each other.

Arizona & San Diego

Both Lucca and Fiona ended up at Arizona State University, where their relationship continued to blossom. After graduation, they built a life together in San Diego, spending nearly four years soaking up the sun, the coast, and everything the city had to offer.

The proposal

On January 31, 2026, Lucca proposed to Fiona at Sunset Cliffs, one of San Diego's most breathtaking spots. She said yes.

What's next

These days, Lucca and Fiona are back in San Francisco, closer to family and ready for what comes next. On July 17, 2027, surrounded by the people they love most, they'll make it official.

Getting there

  • Flying inSan Francisco (SFO) and Oakland (OAK) are the closest major airports, each roughly an hour's drive to Fairfax depending on traffic. Leave extra time for the Golden Gate Bridge on a summer Saturday.
  • Driving & parkingFree parking is available at the venue.
  • RideshareRideshare cars can be scarce in Fairfax late at night. If you're not driving, book your ride home in advance or coordinate with friends.

FAQ

Formal attire: suits or tuxedos, and floor-length or cocktail dresses. Deer Park Villa is an outdoor estate, so choose shoes that work on grass and garden paths. One firm rule: please don't wear white. Fiona has dibs.
Expect a warm summer day in Marin, and afternoons can get hot. Dinner and the reception will be outdoors, and evenings can cool off once the sun goes down, so dress for the heat and bring a light layer for later.
We love your little ones, but our wedding is an adults-only celebration. If your children are invited, they'll be named on your invitation.
